Sophie Collis is raising £500 for The Listening Place
About
Ben and I (plus some very good friends too) have taken the ludicrous decision to run 13 miles around Exeter on the 14th October with only 6 weeks of planning and "training". We are doing all this to raise some money for the fantastic charity that is The Listening Place. TLP is a fantastic charity offering support for people who feel like life is no longer worth living and has done some amazing work over the last year or so giving ongoing help to some visitors in their darkest moments. The charity was set up by my mum (the amazing Sarah Anderson) last year and has since managed to rope in my dad (the amazing Terrence Collis), my brother, half my extended family and, occasionally, me. It could not be a more important cause for all of us. Over the next (less than) four weeks, Ben and I will be trying to fit long, cold and often drizzly training runs around 13 hour working days and 13 hour night shifts. In aid of this miserable use of our free time and in support of a fantastic cause please dig deep and donate what you can. The Listening Place website in case anyone wants to plug it to their friends (the other thing they're desperate for is volunteers): http://listeningplace.org.uk/ Thank you for visiting our Givey page. When you make your donation through Givey, the Charity receives 100% of the donation. Your details are safe with Givey and donating is completely secure. Whatsmore, they never share your email address with any third parties except the Charity you donate to.
