The Starling Team are taking to the streets of Manchester on Sunday 22nd May for the 10K and Half Marathon!

Please help us to raise our target of £1000 to support neurodivergent young people across Greater Manchester!

Did you know that up to 25% of the UK population are neurodivergent? That means that potentially a quarter of us has a brain that works in different and distinct ways. Things like dyslexia, ADHD, autism, mental health and other neurological differences are much more common than we think!

But did you know that only 16% of autistic people are in full time employment in the UK and only 1 in 10 companies say that they consider neurodiversity when hiring and managing people!

Starling work across Greater Manchester and nationally to raise awareness, acceptance and celebration of neurodiversity in society through training and creative practice. We also run youth projects that work with neurodivergent young people aged 13-25 to support self expression, identity, wellbeing and making positive connections.

Your money will go directly to supporting this work. That's because we are a small charity and we don't have lots of overheads. Please support our team in their running efforts and help us reach more people with our projects and training!
