About

After over 20 years partnering with Glass Door, we have decided to go it alone with our Sunday Suppers project.

Instead of sleeping the homeless, we will serve people who are experiencing food poverty with a nutritious meal every Sunday evening.

There is no early signing up to attend. We will issue free entrance tickets on each Sunday night to match the number of guests we will be expecting to serve that evening. Potential guests who exceed the number we can feed could receive takeaways. If we exceed the number of meals we can provide, in the next week a higher number of tickets could be provided until we reach a maximum number.

We will start the suppers on Nov 19th and finish just prior to Easter. Sunday Suppers will take place at Rivercourt. However the service is a joint project with St. Peter's Church. They provide many volunteers to the service and have done with other local volunteers dating back to the beginning of the Glass Door relationship.

Funds to support this service are being raised through this website by a commitment to focus on prayerful fasting. Rivercourt's minister, Singa Vunipola, will lead the way with a sunrise to sunset fast every Friday from 6th Oct to 17 Nov.
