raised of £1,000 target from 31 people

I’d like to raise some money for The Listening Place, an amazing charity who help people struggling with chronic suicidal feelings. I’m not proud of being depressed but I will never feel ashamed to have been suicidal at multiple times in my life. The help recently offered to me in a real time of crisis by The Listening Place is nothing short of lifesaving in my opinion and I’d like to do anything I can to help these incredible VOLUNTEERS continue to do what they do. My experience has been both heartening and optimistic in terms of my own life, others and our NHS. I’d also like to say my heart goes out to those effected by the recent deaths in London and elsewhere. I am aware that some have been tragic accidents, though a number have sadly been intentional. Though I didn’t know them personally I am very moved by their passing and seeing close friends dealing with grief. I see this as the best way I can raise funds and awareness and this seems a fitting moment to do so. I have chosen The Listening Place because of my own personal experience with them. All of the money raised will go directly to them and I will be making a donation myself. So, onto the donation side of things, there is no minimum donation. I am however offering a gift of one of my artworks to one randomly selected person who donates £10 or more. I will also give pieces of artwork (most likely works on paper) to some randomly selected contributors. If you donate to the Givey page your money will be used as a donation, regardless of whether you win or not. I will be covering the cost of shipping to a winner located outside of London in UK or abroad. If the winner is London based they are welcome to visit my studio to select which artwork they’d like. Please add a message including your email address on the Givey page to be included in the artwork selection or you can DM to let me know you’ve donated. I have no idea whether this idea will work but please consider a donation if not for me for the countless people who could use the support of such a priceless non-profit organisation. Love and thanks, Jack <3
