About
The Yorkshire Three Peaks route is 24 miles (38.6km), and includes 1585m (5200ft) of ascent. The Challenge takes on the peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough, usually in this order, and the aim is to do it in under 12 hours!! These peaks form part of the Pennine range, and encircle the head of the valley of the River Ribble, in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. We are planning to undertake this challenge on the 29th June 2019. 'We' are a group of Beaver, Cub and Scout Leaders from 1st Farnsfield Scout Group in Nottinghamshire. We are passionate about helping the young people of Farnsfield and surrounding villages be better prepared for a brighter future. The Scout Association exists to actively engage and support young people in their personal development, empowering them to make a positive contribution to society. Anything you donate will go straight to helping us in this cause. When you make your donation through Givey, our Charity receives 100% of the donation. Your details are safe with Givey and donating is completely secure. Whatsmore, they never share your email address with any third parties except the Charity you donate to. Thank you for supporting us in this (epic!) challenge - we appreciate your help and words of encouragement - we all know; they're definitely going to be needed!
