Thomas Hogan is raising £500 for Stepping Stones Parents Association
About
Our Amazing son Thomas has chosen to take part in the Junior Great North Run which is a 4km race on Saturday 12th September 2015. Tom has chosen to complete this race and raise money for Stepping Stones Developmental Unit in Hasligden, Lancashire. When Thomas was 5 weeks old he contracted Menigitis which resulted in him having Cerebral Palsy amongst other things and he is also partially sighted, he tires very quickly and relies on his wheelchair, so this will be extremely challenging for Tom, but for all those who have been around Tom you will be aware he is not afraid of a little hard work. Thomas attended stepping stones in his early years and they have played a huge part in Thomas' development and he still remembers it with special memories, and we are all eternally grateful for what they did. The work and care Stepping Stones can offer children is absolutelty amazing. Tom and ourselves want to show our appreciation and raise as much as possible to help them, with whatever they may need, be it specialist equipment or simply a fun filled day out. Stepping Stones will always be close to our hearts, so please help Tom and us pass a little bit back. Love from Thomas, Jack, Mummy & Daddy xxxx
