Tom McKibbin is raising £200 for Shelter
About
Hi, I'm Tom. Some of you may already know me as Tom, although a lot of people I know (as well as complete strangers) like to call me names like 'Jesus', 'hippy', and 'giant Jesus hippy.' This is because I've had long hair for aaaaaggggeees. So long that my wife and daughter have only ever known me to have long hair, as have my work colleagues, and many of my friends. But now I'm planning to cut my hair, and I'm using this as an opportunity to raise some money for a cause which I think is a very important one, especially at this time of year when the temperature in the UK starts to plummet. I'm raising money for the homeless charity Shelter. As winter's grip takes hold and we find ourselves complaining about the bitter cold as we leave our houses or workplaces, I think it's important to remember that this inconvenience is nothing compared to the realities for those who face a night on the street or in bad housing. So I would like to ask you to donate, if you can, to help someone who may be in need this winter. I will be cutting my hair at the end of January so I will run the campaign until then. I chose Givey as the platform because they give 100% of the donations to the chosen charity. For more information on the work that Shelter do please visit their website: http://england.shelter.org.uk/our_work Thank you for checking out my cause, and HUGE thanks to anyone who wishes to donate! Tom Some more information about Givey: Thank you for visiting our Givey page. When you make your donation through Givey, the Charity receives 100% of the donation. Your details are safe with Givey and donating is completely secure. Whatsmore, they never share your email address with any third parties except the Charity you donate to.
