Mark Ingram is raising £1,000 for Alzheimer's Society
About
As part of the Port Vale and Stoke City Legends Match organised by Port Vale Legend Tony Naylor, Jason Hewer and myself are going to be cycling from Cheltenham FC to Vale Park, via Telford and Crewe Alexandra, 4 teams that Tony has played for. The total distance is around 130 miles and we are looking to do this over a maximum of three days making sure that we end up at Vale Park on Sunday 18th May by 3pm for the kick off of the charity match. This is going to be quite a challenge as we are both big lads who are not particularly fit and part of the journey includes getting over the Malvern Hills. This is a charity that is particularly close to my heart as I lost my dad around 4 years ago after he suffered from Alzheimer's for 5 years. Its a horrible disease where often the families are more the victims that the person with Alzheimer's. We really hope that we can Help Tony raise a great deal of money for this cause and of course hope we make it to the match on the 18th May. Details of the game itself can be found on Tony's face book page at https://www.facebook.com/tony.naylor.399. Your support and donations will be very much appreciated.
