I am 13 years old now. I was born with a short leg on the left side (Fibular Hemimelia). I am struggling to move around because of the deformed leg, and finding it extremely difficult to socialise because of the stigma attached. Van Allen Hospital , Kodaikanal, India, has come forward to help me with the surgery and the lengthy rehabilitation involved. They have promised me to cover the entire hospital cost and the surgical cost . But I am in need of your help to cover the implant cost. It would be much appreciated if you could help me with this so that I can have my surgery at the earliest and lead a normal life like any other teenager. With regards Ramu
