I am 'running' the Great North Run this year to try and raise loads of cash for this vital cause. Any amount you can give at all, however big or small, will be massively appreciated and every penny will make those 13 miles that much easier (or at least more worthwhile!) Barely any of us will be lucky enough to avoid being affected by dementia at some point in our life, I already know from personal experience what a cruel disease it is and particularly the effect it has on the families of those suffering. Alzheimer's Research fund vital projects to find preventions, treatments and hopefully a cure for this horrible disease, giving us hope that one day no family will have to suffer the effects of dementia.
