The challenge is to walk the length of a marathon (26.2 miles) over a month (30 days). We came up with this challenge to motivate people to get out and get some daily exercise. Exercise or going for a walk can help clear your head, boost your mood and help reduce anxiety. We know a lot of people are struggling with their mental health during lockdown and so we wanted to create this challenge to motivate, inspire and encourage people to get out walking.
Any money that is fundraised will be going towards our ongoing Mental Health & Wellbeing project that is run by young people, for young people.
