What are we doing?
The short answer: We’re walking a really long way – 8157km to be exact!
The long answer: Throughout April, we’re planning to walk and run the distance between Lancaster University and Nkhamenya Community Hospital in Malawi. We’re aiming to raise funds for PPE to help prevent the spread of Covid-19 and save lives at the hospital.
How are we going to do it? Of course we’re observing Covid-19 guidelines, so we’re planning to individually walk or run as far as we can to contribute to a group total. We’ll be ‘competing’ as four teams, to see who can contribute the most miles to our grand total.
