This year I'm in the process of attempting a bit of a quest, of sorts: 100 press-ups, on my fists, every single day for the year! 💪 But, because I'm a psycho and my OCD is pretty bad, I'll be ramping it up to 200 press-ups a day in December and to finish off the year with guaranteed messed up shoulder sockets I'll be cracking 1000 press-ups on December 29th 🤯 (I was planning on doing it on the 31st, but the wife pointed out that it's our daughter's and my mother's birthdays and she didn't want me skulking off ((her words)) to do press-ups all day). I'm not just torturing myself for the sake of a beautifully defined chest and my mental health issues 😂. I'm also doing it all for an amazing cause: The Children's Hospice South West 🌟. By the end of the year, I'll have completed over 40,000 press-ups on my knuckles since the 1st of Jan 2025, to hopefully make a little difference in the lives of children and families who need it most. My fundraising goal is ambitious: I'd love to reach £1000 specifically for the 1000 press-ups I'll be doing on December 29th 💸, but honestly, if we can hit £40,600 (that's just £1 per press-up for the whole year 🤯), I'd be over the moon!
