About
Hi I'm Zoe and I'm 11 years. The idea for my challenge was from an article in the newspaper saying that if you run up and down the stairs three times a day it will increase your fitness. I started doing this during the start of this lockdown, then I felt that I needed a bit more of a challenge. I thought it would be a good idea to climb a really high mountain. My Mum and sister told me about the Three Peaks Challenge, which is 3,064 metres up and 3,064 metres down and that maybe I could do this climbing up and down my stairs and raise some money for charity at the same time. I know that lots of families have been struggling over these past couple of months so then I thought I could try and help some of them by raising some money for the Whitehawk Foodbank in Brighton. We measured our stairs, 25 up and 25 down with a height of 4m. We then worked out that I needed to climb up and down the stairs 1532 times, that means 76 times a day if I wanted to do it in 20 days. I am starting today January 20 and finishing on February 10th. I will be jogging and running the whole distance, no walking allowed. It would be amazing if you could support me and this great charity. Thank so much Zoe Cheal xxx
