If you’re aged between 12 and 18, and a fan of aviation, action and adventure, love sports and getting to know people then you’re in the right place. Every year nearly 60,000 air cadets and volunteer staff take part in exciting events all over the country. 1220 (March) is the local Squadron for the Fenland towns of March, Chatteris and Manea, as well as surrounding villages including Guyhirn, Doddington and Wimblington. We are a self funding registered excepted charity with HMRC, and raise our funds through a monthly subscription from cadets of £10, as well as running charity events throughout the year. All of our uniform and non-uniform staff are volunteers, and we have a Civilian Committee of Trustees that oversee our finances and fund raising. We welcome charitable donations to help us provide excellent facilities and activities for the Cadets.
