This year's 21st Century Ducks sponsored walk, will see a flock of Ducks supporters walk from Aylesbury to The Meadow, Chesham United FC, marks the 19th season the Club has been without a permanent ground and home in Aylesbury. The walkers will reach Chesham in time for Aylesbury United's game against Hitchin Town on Saturday 22nd November. All money raised from this sponsored walk will be donated to our charity partner Youth Concern. We have entered into a long term charity partnership with Youth Concern. Not only do we raise money for Youth Concern, we also raise awareness of the fantastic work the charity does supporting young people across Aylesbury Vale. In just 2 years our supporters have raised over £7.5k for Youth Concern via our sponsored walks, quiz nights and raffles. In addition over 550kg of food has been donated at games to their foodbank. Youth Concern are a youth charity that support young people in Aylesbury Vale. They welcome all 13-25 year olds, but specialise in working with young people who face additional challenges including, but not limited to, those who are financially vulnerable, have mental health needs, homeless or at risk of homelessness, young carers, ‘looked after’ or affected by domestic/sexual violence or abuse.
