Like many charities, the Claygate Recreation Ground Trust is also facing losing substantial income over the next few months due to the Coronavirus. It's estimated that they will lose over £12,000 between 1st March and 31st July. During this time, the Trust still have to bear the costs of managing the recreation ground. At a time when the Trust is rebuilding the Clubhouse and trying to fundraise for the landscaped area, this is an additional financial cost which is hard for the Trust to bear. Claygate Recreation Ground is a hugely important space for the entire community, the only fully accessible green space and the only green space in the village with a children's playground. To support the Trust, I am joining the 2.6 Challenge and have decided to try to do 26 netball shots each days for 5 days with my daughter.
