About
1 in 4 of us will experience at least one mental health problem in any one year and 3 in 4 people suffering from mental illness get no treatment at all. Join us in supporting the Scottish Association for Mental Health as we attempt to cycle 350 kilometres AND summit Ben Nevis all within the one day. We will be attempting this challenge on the week of August 10th dependant on weather conditions. Myself, Andy and Thomas have decided to set ourselves a challenge to cycle from Renfrew (just outside Glasgow) to the north facing car park at Ben Nevis; this is 175km. We will then climb Ben Nevis, the tallest mountain in the UK, before cycling back to Renfrew (another 175km). We have calculated this to be a continuous 24 hours of hard work and believe this is something not many others will ever have attempted so we have decided to try to raise money for a great charity: SAMH. Any donations will be greatly appreciated. Thank you everyone.
