About
As I turn 40 this year I decided to challenge myself by cycling 40 miles in the Etape Caledonia in Pitlochry on Sunday 15th May 2022. As a beginner and amateur cyclist this will be the first organised event I have participated in, and a huge challenge for me. I would love to support Fife Sports and Leisure Trust and the Fife Health and Well-being Programme by raising awareness and hopefully some funds for them. I know that financially times are challenging for everyone at the moment, so I am not asking for large donations. Instead I am asking is that instead of buying me a birthday card this year, perhaps think about donating £2 to this fundraiser instead. Ensuring sport is available and accessible for everyone is very important to me and my family, which is why I have chosen to support this charity. Over the past ten years, Fife Sports and Leisure Trust have delivered a self-funded health and wellbeing programme that supports people living with long-term health conditions such as cancer, dementia, diabetes, COPD and cardiac incidents. Thanks to a dedicated team of highly-qualified instructors, they deliver 91 health classes a week, with 4,000 participants attending classes to enjoy the health and wellbeing benefits experienced by getting active, as well as meeting others who are living with similar conditions to their own. Thank you for any support you can offer! ☺️
