Losing my mum to suicide at the age of 13 was life changing.
I have had some wonderful love and support over the years. The kind of empathetic, bespoke support that Living On bereavement service offers to children and young people when someone they love dies didn’t exist at the time but it would have been invaluable and possibly even life-changing in its own way.
I feel so fortunate now to have the chance to work with Living On and to support the wonderful work that the team does with children and families in the Orpington area. I can think of no better way to honour that work than by fundraising for Living On as I climb Mt Kilimanjaro this 20-27th September.
And I will walk in honour of Joan, Mini, Emma, Helen and Jane, and all of their wonderful children.
If you feel able to support my fundraising it would be so appreciated, thank you.
