Story
Action Medical Research played a crucial role in developing the polio vaccine in the UK, ultrasound scanning in pregnancy, hip replacement surgery and more. As an independent, national charity we rely totally on voluntary support. Our research is not restricted to any single part of medical science; which means that everyone in the country, from the youngest babies to the growing number of elderly, stand to benefit from the results of our work.
