Story

Like many people running & being part of a club is a huge part of our lives, however, due to the current global situation and social distancing guidelines our clubs can no longer operate and we are all running in isolation (I hate running alone!) Therefore 3 local groups (Stoke Golding Runners, Race Rapid & Market Bosworth 1485 Run Together) have joined forces and decided to do a virtual Lockdown Rainbow Relay Run on Saturday 2nd May 2020. There will be 3 teams made up of members from all 3 groups and mixed abilities, each person is allocated a 30 minute time slot in which they need to run as far as they can within that time. At the end of the day, the team with the most accumulated distance wins!! What better way to bring our fabulous running community together with a bit of friendly competition and whilst we’re at it, try and raise some vital funds for others in need. Together we are better!
