I am an Independent Midwife who has been profoundly effected by the loss of professional indemnity insurance for the Intrapartum period of pregnancy and birth. This loss, takes away birth choices for families wishing to choose an alternative to mainstream NHS care. If continuity of carer is important, if an experienced midwife in home births is important, then supporting this campaign is important to you!!
