Facilitating the empowerment of BAME young people
Story

We work with young people aged 11 to 25, providing safe spaces where they can share their experiences, learn about Black histories and develop positive sense of identities. We deliver a number of projects and activities to support their physical, spiritual and emotional development.

Our activities include Weekly drop in sessions - a safe space for young people to share and learn. Multi cultural cooking project - learning about different cultures through food. Mentoring and tutoring- supporting young people to reach their potential in education. Transitions - supporting young people moving from Year 6 to Year 7 BME Youth Champions - supporting young people to volunteer within the BMEYPP and the wider communities. Holiday trips and activities - giving young people opportunities to take part in new activities.
