Story
Hello friends and family of Carolside Nursery. The children at the Nursery are going to complete a sponsored Obstacle course the week commencing 2nd November to help raise money for the garden area and to purchase new toys and materials such as tools and a new mud kitchen. The current mud Kitchen is very old and has been well used, so in need of replacing! During the week there will be various challenging obstacles for them to complete and everyone will receive a completion certificate and medal. The children have been heavily involved in a consultation to outline the project to update the garden area at nursery, and all details are on the Nursery Blog which can be found here: https://sites.google.com/er.glow.scot/carolsidenurseryclass/parental-engagement?authuser=0 The aim to to create an outdoor experience that challenges our children to develop curiosity and a love of learning in an environment that encourages; Risk taking and adventurous play An active healthy approach to learning and development Nurtures care and respect for our environment Confidence in our own abilities Friendship and support for each other The Parent Fundraising Association (PFA) has set up this fundraising page and we have set a target of raising £1000 to kick start this project.
