My name is Chokhmah John and I am a year 7 student at Highgate Senior School. I will run 5km on Saturday the 21st November 2020 to help raise money for LAE Tottenham students who face hardship due to the current pandemic. There are about 200 families in LAE Tottenham and 40% of the school population need support for simple everyday essentials to survive and that’s not good enough. We need to help them further so that they can have a shot at life. Some students are thinking to drop out of their A-Levels to help out their families and we can’t let that happen. The impact of the pandemic has affected their lives much more and that chance is slowly slipping due to this virus.
