Emma Thatcher is raising £6,500 for Clifton Hampden Primary School PTA
About
Clifton Hampden Primary School is small village school that needs some new iPads. Unfortunately with current budget restraints there is no funding to help the school replace them. All children, teachers and staff use iPads in their every day teaching and learning and unfortunately the existing ones have reached the end of their lives and need to be replaced. The school has a wish list of 20 iPads, 15 for the children's use (1 between 2 children in most classes) and 5 for teacher's use (1 per teacher). Having an iPad in the classroom helps to bring our children's education to life, just as the iPad has made its way into households and business, it has also found a place in the classroom, providing an interactive learning tool for the digital age. Having an iPad will offer a truly mobile learning experience, allowing the children to take their device around their classroom or even into the great outdoors! Using iPads gives the children access to interactive technology making learning more engaging and memorable and can change the way learning is completed. The iPads will be used alongside traditional learning methods to support learning across the entire curriculum including maths games, research, watching educational videos, taking photos, making videos, learning to safely use the internet, handwriting practice, reinforcing fine motor skills and so much more. The iPads will also support the teaching staff in so many ways, including capturing photos, videos, taking registration and ordering lunches to name just a few. Thank you for visiting our Givey page, please know that when you make your donation, Clifton Hampden Primary School PTA receives 100% of the donation. Thank you for showing support to our children's learning!
