Cocoon is a Hertfordshire-based charity supporting people affected by problematic drug and alcohol use. We provide a range of treatment, housing, and education services that help individuals overcome addiction, rebuild their lives, and achieve long-term recovery.
Our services include inpatient detoxification, residential rehabilitation, recovery housing, counselling, outreach, and community-based support. We also provide specialist accommodation and support for people facing complex challenges, including resettlement housing for men involved in the criminal justice system, supported housing for people experiencing homelessness, and dedicated housing and support for women fleeing domestic abuse.
At Cocoon, we recognise that recovery is about more than stopping substance use. It is about creating stability, restoring wellbeing, rebuilding relationships, and helping people develop the confidence and skills needed to live independent and fulfilling lives. Through compassionate, person-centred support, we work alongside individuals at every stage of their recovery journey.
The name Cocoon reflects our vision: a safe, supportive environment where people can step away from drugs and alcohol, heal from past challenges, and transform their lives. We believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to recover, thrive, and move forward into a healthier and more hopeful future.
