Hi thank you for visiting my page. i am competing in my first triathlon for BAM Support UK- when the Diarrhoea is BAD. Sufferers of this little known condition have to constantly live with the fear of diarrhoea and it can become debilitating and affect every aspect of their life. BAM Support UK is a new Charity set up in April 2015 to ensure that Bile Acid Diarrhoea (BAD), Bile Acid Malabsorption(BAM) & Bile Salt Malabsorption(BSM) is widely understood by the UK population, recognised much earlier by health care professionals and those with the BAM condition are empowered to live life to the full. I have decided to complete in the Sprint triathlon on Sunday 22th May 2016 as i want to raise awareness and much needed funds to get the charity status we desperately need. please support me in whatever way you can as i relearn to swim after 20 years and get back on my bike :). the Total distance is 400m swim, 20km bike ride and 5km run which i aim to complete in under 2 hours.
