Historia

Desert Flower Foundation aims to eradicate female genital mutilation (FGM) within the UK and overseas. Founded by Waris Dirie, former UN Special Ambassador for the Elimination of Female Genital Mutilation, our work has only just begun in the UK. Donations will go towards development of the UK's first FGM Support Centre, programmes for survivors, and projects which actively protect children.
