Story

Energy Alton is a volunteer-run community group with the aim of reducing and decarbonising energy use in the Alton and surrounding area.

Our team of over 25 volunteers, co-ordinated by a paid worker, are working on a range of energy advice and renewable energy projects.

Our committed volunteers have carried out over 500 free home and small business energy surveys over the past ten years.

We also work closely with Alton Town Council (as a member of ATC’s Climate Change Committee) and with East Hampshire District Council.
