Gnome Hunt Fundraiser

Each year, our team works extremely hard to bring together our local community and raise money for our school. This July, we’re excited to host our biggest event of the year: the Gnome Hunt. During this event, families follow a map trail and search for our colourful gnome displays throughout the village and end up at the village hall, where everyone can visit lots of stalls and enjoy crafts and games, tea, homemade cakes, Pimms and more.

The ESA have been hosting this event for over 12 years, and usually welcome around 1200 people to the village. Last year’s hunt raised over £3000! This year, we’re expecting an even bigger crowd due to the July date. A successful event will ensure that the school can continue to offer an outstanding learning environment in the classroom and provide enrichment activities beyond the national curriculum. Our current goals are improving early years outdoor learning provision, funding props and scenery for the school play and running field trips and visits to the pantomime or circus despite huge increases in transportation costs.



This year’s Gnome Hunt is scheduled for the weekend of July 8 and 9, so mark your calendars. There’ll be fun for all the family as children join in the hunt for gnomes!



Please help us cover some of our Gnome Hunt weekend costs with a donation towards the cost of decorations, signs and posters, games and activities. It all helps and your support makes our funds to the school go even further.
