Historia

Galashiels Town Band is a community brass band in Galashiels. Our aim is not only to entertain the local community but also to help support the identify of the town.

We operate 3 bands, from beginners through to the 'senior' band, with instruments, uniforms, music and tutoring provided for all.

All of this costs money! From £30 for a single piece of music through £200 for a training cornet to thousands of pounds for percussion or basses.

We raise money in lots of ways - from concerts, engagement fees and busking at Christmas. However, we can always use more! So thank you in advance for reading this page and providing your help.
