The advantages of developing musical skills are well-documented however music education for children is at risk from many factors including the cost of living crisis, escalating costs and uncertainty around government funding. Our charitable aims and objectives are geared towards mitigating this risk in our communities by raising funds to:

enabling children to learn a musical instrument at school for free

providing bursaries for follow-on tuition and access to instruments

encouraging and increasing participation in our local commmunity music scene.

We airm to raise at least £3,000 each year to enable us to fund the projects detailed on our webpages through the generosity of our donor community, fundraising activities and grants from charitable organisations. Our ultimate goal is for every school-child in Goring and Streatley to take their first musical steps for free and to enable support follow-on activities for all those who wish to continue.
