We are once again teaming up with Heart for Romania to support a very deprived village in the Harghita region in Romania. This will be our 4th visit to support and encourage families living in poverty and bringing them essential goods. The plan? When we discovered nobody celebrates their birthday in the village and often the children don't even know how old they are, we decided we wanted to throw one BIG party for all the children and adults. We will have games, arts & crafts, face painting, party bags, gifts, food, cake, a bonfire and perhaps even fireworks! We want everyone to feel special and loved. We will also take essential household items such as towels, blankets, baby packs for expectant mums and tons of other stuff. We are hoping to connect the families with an organisation working in the area who have lots of second hand goods where we can purchase essential clothing and shoes for the children and individuals. One of our main costs is transporting the items we have collected so anything you can give towards this trip is hugely appreciated. Thank you for your ever faithful generosity to us. It makes a huge difference.
