Historia

Friends of Inti Wara Yassi (FIWY) is the UK branch of the Inti Wara Yassi Community (CIWY) and the focal point for international fundraising and partnerships. Since 2008 we have provided administrative support to, raised funds for and awareness of CIWYs work in Bolivia.

CIWY is Bolivias leading organisation in wildlife rights and care. For more than 20 years CIWY has cared for rescued wildlife, given disadvantaged youth a sense of purpose through involvement with animal care, and educated the Bolivian public to respect their countrys flora and fauna.

CIWYs main concern is animal trafficking. CIWY is working to end it and in the meantime offering refuge to those animals who have fallen victim to it.
