About

Thank you for sponsoring Ivydale's first ever Readathon! We have two goals for the Readathon: - to raise money for book nooks in the Bellwood and Inverton playgrounds, giving all children access to cosy, safe spaces to curl up with a book. The estimated total cost of these nooks isare £4,000, which breaks down to around £670 per year group. - to help Ivydale’s pupils to develop a life-long love of reading and discover the pleasure that books can bring. So even though we have a financial target, we want the Readathon to be something to celebrate; not a cause of stress or anxiety. However much your child manages to read, or however much they manage to raise, what matters most is that they know that every contribution is equally important and valued. You'll notice that your donations adds a fee, the reason for this is to allow 100% of donations received go to ILOF. Your details are safe with Givey and donating is completely secure. Whatsmore, they never share your email address with any third parties except the Charity you donate to.
