The Scout hut electricity bill for 2024 was over £1000 including standing charges, normally this is covered by the now defunct Christmas Post fundraiser. This year I am undertaking a series of personal challenges and I would like to use these challenges to raise funds for the Scout Group. Starting May 8th, I will be walking from the West Coast of Scotland (Inverie in Knoydart) to the East Coast (Montrose), hoping to finish on Thursday 22 May. Major way points are Invergarry, Newtonmore, Braemar and Tarfside. There will be other challenges towards the end of the year, including the Ghost Train, Great North Run, the Illuminator and the Dava Way Ultra. All challenges are self funded and all your donations will go to the Forres Scout Group. If you can please tick the Gift Aid box.
