Story
I first started running in 2015 and ran VLM in 2016 and 2017, both times having fundraised. I have run numerous marathons and ultras since (running I use loosely). There is, to me, however, something special about running London. I have loved London as a city since I was a child and am fortunate to work there too and running through it, there is something about it I cannot put into words. I had no intention of running VLM this year. It could not have been further from my mind. However I believe things happen for a reason and following a number of what some people would call coincidences, I found myself having the opportunity to run VLM again and also at the same to fundraise to help International Needs reach their target to help the street boys in Nairobi. It is hard to comprehend just how awful things are for the boys there and just how hard it must be as a mother bringing your son up in that environment. So I am going something I love doing (running) in a city I love, the least I can do is go all all out to raise as much money as I can to help INUK and Pastor Joshua to help give those boys a future and more importantly a hope. Thank you for reading my page and if you are able to donate anything, no matter how small as I know times are hard, I would be very grateful as will International Needs UK.
