Story

Kirkcudbright Summer Festivities formed 50 years ago, 1971 with just 1 event. Now being a Queen's Award for Voluntary Service winner, a charities equivalent to an MBE. These days, Kirkcudbright Summer Festivities are a large voluntary organisation who hosts several community events between March and October. Our events range from monthly events, such as Kirkcudbright Farmers & Producers Market and Kirkcudbright Car Boot Sale, to annual events, such as Kirkcudbright Floodlit Tattoo which is the culmination of our summer program. You’re certain to find an event that you’ll love!

Incentives

1 Hour of First Aid Coverage - £20.00

It cost's roughly £20 per hour for the large team of first aiders plus ambulances and equipment to attend our events to keep everyone safe.

1 Hour of Diesel for our Generators - £5.00

It costs us around £5 to run our generators for 1 hour at our events. We run generators (sometimes multiple) for about 85 hours in a year.

25 Promotional Leaflets - £10.00

One large cost we incur in the cost of advertising. We print around 40,000 leaflets a year for all of our events.
