We urgently need your help to replace the heating and hot water system in our brand-new day service premises.
Earlier this year, after more than a decade in the Haringey Heartlands, we were forced to leave our home due to major redevelopment. In just three months, we had to uproot and find somewhere new to continue our adult day opportunities programme — a lifeline for adults with severe and profound learning difficulties, physical disabilities, autism, and complex medical needs.
After a difficult search and a period in temporary accommodation, we finally secured a new site in Hornsey. It has so much potential — not just for daytime support, but for evening and weekend activities and as a welcoming hub for local community groups. Our vision is simple but powerful: a space where everyone feels loved, wanted, and part of the community.
But the building we’ve taken on had been derelict for more than two years. We’ve already had to replace the entire roof, and now the heating and hot water system has been condemned. With winter fast approaching, and much of our funds already spent on urgent repairs, we’re facing a critical shortfall.
Without a safe and warm building, we cannot continue to offer the comfort, care and connection that our service users rely on — and for many, our centre is the only place where they can stay warm, enjoy hot food, and access the support they need each day.
✨ This is where you can make a real difference.
Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly towards installing a new boiler and pipework, ensuring our doors stay open and our space stays warm for everyone who needs us.
Thank you so much for visiting our Givey page. With Givey, your donation reaches us in full — 100% comes straight to the charity. Your details are secure, and your generosity will have an immediate impact.
Together, we can turn a cold, derelict building into a warm, safe haven of care, dignity and community.
