Historia

The Kenya Community Education Project has been running since 2003, set up by a former student of Gower College Swansea.

The college, students and staff have been fundraising since to support Madungu Primary School, Kenya. We fund the wages of two teachers and provide, whenever we can, additional funds which have gone towards an orphan feeding programme, building of a library and toilet block, along with supplies for the school.

Over the years the college has arranged 7 visits to Madungu Primary School, taking staff and students over there, with school, sports, medical and clothing supplies. The students then get the opportunity to see a completely different way of life, contribute to teaching and building work whilst volunteering at the school, as well as taking over much needed equipment.
