I am going dry for October Hi everyone. I am going to not drink alcohol at all throughout the entire month of October. in doing so I am going to help Play2Give - which is a charity I hold dear to my heart. My friend Andy Baker set up Play2Give 13 years ago, which helps so many people and charities in need. He has a brain injury he was born with, and does so much to help others. I am proud to be one of Andy's team volunteers, and last Christmas was fortunate to go round meeting the children on the wards in the childrens hospital at the JR with presents raised. Please sponsor me as I take on Dry October to stay sober for 31 days. As well as helping an amazing charity, it will help give me an incentive as I have been drinking too much, so this will be a great way to commit to staying sober for an entire month. Money will help so many people's lives from Headway brain injuries charity, to the children and families in hospital, young carers, neonatal care at the JR and many more.
