Charlie’s school sent out a letter inviting us to take part in a 5K living on Memorial Walk at High Elms Country Park in April. Living On are a small local charity who support children and their families when someone that they love has died, offering one to one support, group sessions bringing bereaved children together, providing coping mechanisms and relieving isolation. They also provide resources and training for schools, facilitate regular family events bringing bereaved families together and arrange for young people to come together to share their stories. £35 will fund a memory box for a child £350 would fund a supportive social event for our young people £3,500 would fund a 6 week family therapy course They rely entirely on charitable donations so every donation helps these children and their families x Myself and Andrew have experienced the loss of both of our parents along with Charlie losing nanny and grandad so young which was and still is extremely difficult for all of us so we would like to be able to support families who have been through or who are going through similar as this is personal to us from our own experiences so to be able to help others would mean a lot x
