About

Since the beginning of lockdown we have rescued over 200 Cats and Kittens.

All adult kitties we rescue are neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and cleared of parasites prior to adoption. All kittens are de wormed and de flead. The donation we receive for adult cats at the time of adoption only covers basic vet treatment. Unfortunately some of the cats we rescue need additional and/or emergency vet care which can cost up to £2000+ per kitty.

Over lockdown we have seen a huge increase in demand for our services. Both for interest in adoption, as well as the need of kitties being rescued. We always help any kitty in need of help, especially as other charities have closed or are at capacity, therefore, our veterinary expenses have increased greatly over the past few months. Unfortunately this has put us on the back paw, as we have had to spend our vet emergency savings.

London inner city kitties are volunteer run and operate using a foster carer network. As we do not have a physical shelter we are able to put 100% of donations directly towards vet bills.

Every healthy adult kitty we rescue needs microchipping, spaying, vaccinating, and to be treated for fleas and worms before adoption. On average this costs £80. Injured kitties need emergency vet treatment which can cost upwards of £150 if blood tests are required. Dental treatment is one of the most expensive yet essential expenses we face for rescued kitties. A single visit starts at £180 and can be upwards of £400.

We appreciate this is a financially challenging time for everyone and would be immensely grateful for any Financial Support.

Please help us to continue rescuing stray and abandoned kitties as we work at over capacity in the near future.
