Supporting Frontline Children Charity: Ironman 70.3 & Firelighter Ultramarathon Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! On 8th June, I'll be attempting my first triathlon, the Ironman 70.3, Bolton. This 70.3-mile race is comprised of a 1.2-mile swim in Pennington Flash, a 56-mile bike ride and a half marathon. https://www.ironman.com/races/im703-bolton Following this, on 29th August, I’ll be taking on my first ultramarathon, the Firelighter challenge - a 50-mile coastal ultra marathon in Anglesey. This race will take me across stunning but demanding coastal terrain, with unpredictable coastal weather to contend with. https://run-ultra.com/events/firelighter/ Both events will be a personal test of endurance, but also an opportunity to make a meaningful impact. I am raising money for Frontline Children, an incredible charity dedicated to helping children access education and healthcare in some of the most remote and challenging parts of the world, often in conflict and war zones. https://www.frontlinechildren.org/ Your generous donations will go directly to support these essential programs, helping provide resources like: - Access to education for children whose learning has been disrupted by conflict. - Psychosocial support to help children cope with trauma and rebuild their confidence. - Healthcare services to address the physical and emotional toll of war.
