Story
In 2014, I was forced into retirement from teaching because my school wasn’t able to cope with me and my disability. Despite the school building being completely adapted for my needs. What didn’t help was that I broke my femur in school one morning. I was at the time waiting for a hip replacement. Furthermore, I had issues due to my autism, which has only just been diagnosed. Since retiring, I have had a daughter through one relationship which didn’t last and got married this year to a beautiful woman. Despite my physical limitations and condition, I have always strived to find another way. So much so, I am awaiting to have my foot amputated so that I can walk again. My faith has made me stronger and look to thriving with my conditions. As a result I wish to support all children particularly from Kiyindi. This is because I can’t go there but want to do my bit. Our youth group at St John’s Burscough are going out in 2024 and Joanna has inspired me. Thanks to Grace from International Needs, my family and church friends. Trust in people is a big thing for me. But I trust in Him God Bless you all Xx
