Goan-origin opera singer Oscar Castellino is joining hands with musicians from UK’s only blind orchestra, Inner Vision Orchestra to record songs in Konkani and they need your support. How did this start? The Orchestra’s music director, Baluji Shrivastav OBE invited Castellino to perform with the orchestra at the Commonwealth Christmas Concert 2020 and Castellino suggested he would sing something in Konkani. Watch here. It was an instant hit with the worldwide audience and received up to 50,000 views across all social media within a week. Goans around the world have suggested that Castellino continue to record more songs in Konkani.
