Thank you for visiting our Givey page. At Knebworth School, we believe that enriched, outdoor play for children greatly affects child wellbeing and is deeply connected to children’s learning, behaviour and achievements in the classroom. We therefore began our OPAL (Outdoor Play and Learning) journey in September 2024 and already we are seeing the benefits it has brought across the school. However, we have just scratched the surface in terms of what we’d like to create and, as the fundraising arm of the school, FOKS are keen to support where we can. Therefore, our current target is to raise £25,000 to fund outdoor shelters so, whatever the weather, our children can enjoy the freedom, independence and joy playtime brings.
