Paul Smith is raising £300 for RNLI - Royal National Lifeboat Institution
About
Peter Smith (my father) lived to the age of 89 and sadly passed away at home in east London on the 28th April. He was bombed out during the Blitz, but survived, he was shipwrecked for the Norwegian coast in the winter of 1951 but survived. He smoked and drank for 40+ years and survived. He lived a very full life. He simply loved the sea, building his own sailing dingy as a kid on Canvey Island, he then joined the Merchant Navy, before settling down and working for Sainsburys for 30+ years. He owned 2 motor boats and regularly explored the coastline. A keen sea lover it is only appropriate that all donations in lieu of flowers go to the RNLI
